President Ranil Wickremesinghe should form a government with the 134 Parliamentarians who voted in favour of him to be elected as the President of Sri Lanka, MP Namal Rajapaksa said.
Speaking to reporters, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP said that the President should not focus on including all 225 MPs in the current Parliament at present.
MP Rajapaksa pointed out that several political parties have rejected the President’s invitation to form an All- Party Government.
“Therefore, the President should appoint a strong government with the 134 MPs who voted for him and move forward,” MP Namal Rajapaksa added. (NewsWire)
