A passenger airplane with 68 passengers and three crew members has crashed near Pokhara International Airport in Nepal. It is a Yeti Airlines flight. Rescue operations are underway. The airport has been closed.
Pokhra is a city about 200 kilometres from Nepalese capital Kathmandu.
Nepali Army source said that rescue team has pulled out 16 bodies from the crash site of the Yeti Airlines ATR-72 in Pokhara of Kaski district. Aircraft flight was carrying 68 passengers & 4 crew members. Joined rescue operations are underway.
