The Ministry of Labour says the process pertaining to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will be digitalized from the 1st of September 2022.
Making the announcement, Minister of Labour Manusha Nanayakkara said the public will not require to wait in long queues to obtain their EPF from next month.
He further said that the public can call the Labour Ministry’s hotline 1958 or send an email to appointment.labourdept.gov.lk to pre-book an appointment.
“We will increase the service orientation of the labour secretariat through digitalising the work to provide a better service experience,” the Minister added. (NewsWire)
