New process of directing COVID-19 patients to hospital or treating them at home, based on their conditions, will start from today in Western Province, the Government Information Department said in a statement.
COVID patients in the Western Province are requested to send a text message to the hotline 1904, mentioning their details including their current health situation.
Patients will be classified as patients with breathing difficulties (A), patients with fever (B) and symptomatic patients (C).
This new process will be implemented from today and will be based on SMS and over the phone services.
