Badminton player Niluka Karunaratne has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
36 year old Niluka Karunaratne also competed in 2012 and 2016 Olympics.. He captained the Sri Lankan contingent to the 2012 Summer Olympics. Karunaratne also competed in five consecutives Commonwealth Games from 2002–2018.
He now becomes the 4th Sri Lankan to qualify for this year’s event.

1. Mathilda Karlsson – Equestrian
2. Milka Gehan – Gymnastic
3. Tehani Egodawela – Shooting
4. Niluka Karunaratne – Badminton
