The Government will not impose an islandwide curfew from midnight today (24), Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said.
The Head of the Covid Task Force said there is no intention to impose an islandwide curfew at present.
A decision has only been taken to isolate the Abayapura Grama Seva Division and Jinna Town in Trincomalee from 06.00 am today, he said.
Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said further the isolation imposed for the Laksandha Sevana housing complex in the Halmulla area in Wellampitiya in the Colombo district was lifted from today. (NewsWire)
