Sri Lanka Legends playing in the Road Safety World Series have now completed all their league games with 5 wins and 1 loss under their name.
Both India and Sri Lanka Legends finished the league stage with 20 points and one loss each while SL have a slightly higher nett run rate (+1.771) than India (+1.733)
However, as per tournament rules, ‘win against each other’ has priority over ‘nett run rate’ when deciding a team’s qualification to the semifinals. With this rule coming in to play, India are set to finish the table in 1st place and will play the 4th place team in the semi finals while SL will play the 3rd place team.
SL Legends lost to India Legends last year, before the tournament got postponed due to Covid-19 situation. (NewsWire)
