Parliament grants three months leave for MPs Sampanthan & Digambaram

Two members of Parliament have been granted leave of three months from attending Parliament sessions.

The two MPs are Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian R. Sampanthan and SJB MP Palani Digambaram.

They have been granted leave from yesterday (18) for a period of three months due to health reasons.

The Parliament seat of a member will be abolished if the MP fails to obtain leave and does not attend Parliament sittings for 3 months. (NewsWire)
