Pathan hits out at Pakistan PM’s brutal dig at India

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan has responded to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, after he took a cheeky dig at India’s 10-wicket loss to England in the semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Pathan took to social media to reply to Sharif’s tweet, saying the difference between us is that we get happy when we win and you get happy when others lose.

“The difference between us is that we get happy when we win and you get happy when others lose. That is why you can’t focus on building your own nation,” Pathan posted on Twitter.

Pathan’s reply came after Sharif posted on Twitter referring to India’s one-sided defeat in the semi-final to England and their 10-wicket defeat to Pakistan in the Super 12 stage of last year’s T20 World Cup while describing the line-up of Sunday’s final in Melbourne.

So, this Sunday, it’s 152/0 vs 170/0,” Sharif said in a tweet after India’s loss to England in the semi-final. (India today)
