A 35 year old police constable attached to the Nilaveli police station has been arrested for allegedly attempting to sexually abuse a school girl.
The police said that they have arrested the said police constable after receiving a complaint from the mother of the 13 year old girl.
The suspect has been interdicted from service and police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
