Journalist Niroshan Jayatissa of Newsfirst, who had filmed Kurunegala Mayor Thushara Sampath’s birthday celebration was summoned to Police today.
Niroshan Jayathissa said that Police recorded a statement from him over the incident.
Police have not yet to recorded a statement from Kurunegala Mayor. Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that Police will record a statement from the Mayor once he ends his self qurantine. (NewsWire)
