“Postpone exams” Law Student’s Union requests

Law Student’s Union of Sri Lanka has requested the Principal of Sri Lanka Law College to reconsider the decision to hold the Attorneys-At-Law Examination – October 2021/April 2022 as scheduled.

Students point out that as per a notice issued by the Law College dated on 4th of May 2022, students who are unable to attend should withdraw from the examination and retake the examination in next sitting which takes place after 6 month’s time.

In a petition signed online, the students say that request is being made in light of the current situation in the country, and to allow students adequate time, a two-week time period, to resolve their transportation and accommodation issues and other necessary arrangements.
