President Ranil Wickremesinghe is reportedly unaware about Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe’s move to appoint an interim committee to Sri Lanka Cricket.
A Senior Government Minister said President Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to take a final decision on the matter at today’s cabinet meeting which will be held this evening.
Commenting on the reports that the Cabinet will take up the matter, the new interim cricket committee chairman Arjuna Ranatunga said it will be a good opportunity for the public to see where the Cabinet of Ministers stand in terms of corrupt Cricket officials who ran the cricket administration of the country.
