The prices of certain liquor and cigarette brands have been increased with effect from 01st October.
Accordingly, the price of brands of liquor produced by the Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka (DCSL) has increased by an average of Rs. 150 per 750 ml.
Meanwhile, the prices of two brands of cigarettes have also been increased by Rs. 5 per stick.
The price hike has been reported in line with the recent increase in taxes. (NewsWire)
