The cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to construct a leisure park in the vicinity of the Peralanda Wetlands in Ragama.
The project is to be implemented by the Urban Development Authority.
The proposal on the leisure park project was presented to the cabinet by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development.
The proposal recommends to award the relevant contract as a direct contract to the Land Development Corporation of Sri Lanka, while the necessary consultancy services will be provided by the Urban Development Authority. (NewsWire)
