International Cricket Commentator Russel Arnold says Sri Lanka should make two changes in the batting department for the next T20I against India.
Sri Lanka lost to India in the 1st T20I by just two runs.
“I think it’s time to bring the batters who were among runs recently, both Sadeera Samarawickrama and Avishka Fernando were among runs while Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Dhananjaya de Silva had struggled recently,” Russell Arnold said speaking to Star Sports.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa had a horror Lanka Premier League and Dhananjaya de Silva also lost his place in Jaffna Kings XI during the latter part of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Indian commentator Aakash Chopra also questioned the absence of Nuwan Thushara who had done well in the Lanka Premier League.
“People who have followed the LPL know that a lot of SL players have come in with some decent game time and form. India is in a spot of bother. I’m surprised that Thushara isn’t playing,” he added. (NewsWire)
