Health DG Dr Anil Jasinghe in a statement says Salons & Beauty Parlours can only open after getting the necessary health certificates from area health authorities.
He said that guidelines that should be followed by salons and beauty parlours will be issued shortly.
Yesterday (05) Health Minister in a statement said that Ministry of Health has granted approval for Beauty Parlours and Salons to resume limited operations under strict health guidelines.
Issuing a further clarification, Health DG stated Salons and Beauty Parlours can open only after doing the necessary changes according to the guidelines that will be issued shortly.
