The Education Ministry has decided to close schools in main cities next week due to the ongoing fuel crisis in the country.
School principals and local educational authorities have been given the permission to decide whether can operate other schools in the country.
The Ministry of Education also said that Public Utilities Commission has informed them that they will not impose power cuts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in order to conduct studies online.
