All schools in Sri Lanka will remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Education Minister G. L. Peiris said all schools will remain closed until further notice.
He said tuition classes, preschools, and State universities will also remain closed during this period.
Meanwhile, all Catholic and Anglican schools have also decided to remain closed in accordance with the Government’s decision.
On 1st May, the Education Ministry decided to close all schools islandwide due to the spread of the third wave of the coronavirus.
All schools were to be closed until today, but the Education Ministry has decided to keep schools and other educational institutions closed until further notice. (NewsWire)
