Sri Lanka cricket selectors are facing a selection dilemma with the return of former skipper Angelo Mathews.
Mathews missed the Test series against the West Indies due to personal reasons.
Pathum Nissanka, who replaced Mathews in the series, made a grand debut with a century, becoming the first Sri Lankan to score a Test hundred in his maiden Test away from home.
The selectors are yet to decide on the team, with chances of Oshada Fernando or Dinesh Chandimal being omitted for Mathews.
There are also possibilities of Dinesh Chandimal replacing Niroshan Dickwella as the wicket-keeper but that’s highly unlikely with Dickwella retuning to form in West Indies.
Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh for a two Test series which will be played in Kandy, with the first match commencing tomorrow. (NewsWire)
