The Ambalanthota Traders association has decided to close all shops in Ambalanthota City for one week starting from Sunday (15).
The association has taken this decision in order to prevent crowd gathering in the city as there is a high risk of Covid-19 spreading in surrounding areas.
Secretary of the Ambalanthota Traders association said that they have taken this step initially for a week. He also said that after one week, they will make the decision to open or keep the shops closed considering the coronavirus situation in the country at that time. (NewsWire)
