Sri Lanka Legends team left for India to participate in the Road Safety World Series early this morning.
The legends travelled in a special charter aircraft. There was a last minute change for the Sri Lanka Legends squad as batsman Chamara Kapugedera had withdrawn from the tournament.
“Chamara Kapugedera will unfortunately not be joining the squad to India due to some personal issues he has to attend to back in Sri Lanka. A replacement will be named soon” Team manager Shyam Impett told NewsWire.
Sri Lanka Legends will play it’s first game against West Indies legends on the 6th of this month. Sri Lankan Legends will be led by Tilakaratne Dilshan who will join the team from Australia.
