135 Covid-19 related deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka increasing the total number of Covid deaths to 11,431.
Covid deaths have seen a slight decline in the last few days from the daily average of 200 deaths per day reported in the last few weeks.
- September 12th : 135 deaths
- September 11th : 144 deaths
- September 10th : 157 deaths
- September 09th : 131 deaths
“We do notice a small decrease in the number of daily cases and deaths. But it’s not appropriate to rush into such conclusions until we see a considerable decrease in cases and deaths” Deputy Director General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath said commenting on the situation. (NewsWire)
