A special meeting organized by the Sports Ministry with past cricket captains and past officials of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has been postponed.
The meeting was scheduled to take place today, but has now been rescheduled for the 02nd of August at 03 pm.
Former captains along with current players who have captained Sri Lanka previously were invited to the meeting along with current SLC officials.
Cricket officials, and current players such as Angelo Mathews, Dimuth Karunaratne, Dinesh Chandimal, and Lahiru Thirimanne are among those who were invited.
The meeting was set to be chaired by Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa.
Meanwhile, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was also set to meet Sri Lanka cricket officials last week.
However, the meeting was postponed, with a new date yet to be announced. (NewsWire)
