As the COVID19 threat is eventually easing in Sri Lanka the Covid19 Task Force has proposed to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to open the airport for foreign tourists from August 01st.
COVID-19 Task Force says recording zero community transmission of the virus from 30th April to 26th May is a victory for the country.
According to the President’s Media Division, since the 30th of April, COVID19 patients have been reported only from the Navy cluster and at quarantine facilities.
