Sri Lanka’s Cabinet today approved a proposal to develop the West Container Terminal (WCT) at the Colombo Port with Indian and Japanese investors.
The decision comes exactly a month after Colombo pulled out of the 2019 tripartite agreement with India & Japan to jointly develop the East Container Terminal.
The proposal presented by India’s Adani group has been approved by the Indian High Commission in Colombo. (NewsWire)
