Sri Lanka faces a risk of nearly 1 million COVID-19 patients being reported in the next 100 days, Deputy Director-General of Public Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath warned.
He told reporters that if the virus continues to spread over the next five days then the infection will double every five days.
Dr. Herath said therefore, this will lead to 1 million infections being detected in the next 100 days. (NewsWire)
