Former IGP Pujith Jayasundara testifying before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the 2019 April Attacks said that the bomber of the Tropical Inn in Dehiwela had met with an intelligence agent 45 minutes before he blew himself up.
Former IGP requested the presidential commission to investigate as to who the Suicide Bomber met.
Former IGP Pujith Jayasundera said the Criminal Investigations Department has more inquiries to be done in this regard, adding that he and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were framed on murder charges without conducting proper investigations. (NewsWire)
