The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Sri Lanka passed 14,000 yesterday with 21 more deaths being reported.
Sri Lanka’s total Covid death toll has now increased to 14,016.
7,829 individuals among those who died are male, while 6,187 are female.
Nearly 76% of individuals who died were over 60-years-old, while 23% of individuals were between 30 to 59 years.
Sri Lanka is now the 47th country to cross the 14,000 deaths mark.
