Sri Lanka testing 37 indigenous medicines for COVID-19

Sri Lanka is to conduct research on 37 types of indigenous medicines prepared as concoctions to cure the coronavirus.

State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion Sisira Jayakody said the Department of Ayurveda and the Indigenous Medicine Board have been instructed to conduct necessary investigations in this regard.

According to the Morning newspaper, he further said the research will focus on studying the immunosuppression of the medicines. (NewsWire)
