The Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has called on the Government to provide relief over fuel prices that were increased recently.
He pointed out that the fishing community in the Western Province has suffered considerably due to the disaster following the fire that broke out on the MV- X-Press Pearl vessel.
Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith said as they are already suffering from the coronavirus pandemic and the loss of livelihood due to the ship disaster, the Government must provide concessions on fuel prices. (NewsWire)
