The Constitutional Council (CC) is scheduled to convene on the 23rd of April 2020 at the Speakers Residence under the patronage of the former Speaker of the 8th Parliament Karu Jayasuriya.
The Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, The Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and other ex-officio members of the Constitutional Council are schedule to attend the meeting, Sri Lanka Parliament said in a statement.
