Former South Africa cricketer Hershelle Gibbs has been excluded from the revised panel of commentators announced for the Lanka Premier League Cricket tournament scheduled for November.
Sri Lanka Cricket last week said that Hershelle Gibbs will be among the 6 high profile commentators joining the LPL.
Gibbs had also confirmed his participation in the tournament on social media.
But earlier today, Gibbs tweeted it was news to him that he will be part of Lanka Premier League Commentary panel.
When NewsWire inquired in this regard, Gibbs responded “They kept me waiting 3 weeks only to tell me this morn it’s not gonna happen. They shouldn’t have advertised it in the first place Man shrugging there you go”.
