Three murders have been reported from three different areas of the country yesterday (24).
A man was killed in Dampalassa area in Narammala yesterday. Police report that an argument between two people resulted in the death of a person after the other attacked him with a pole.
Meanwhile, another murder was reported from Kalubowila area where a person had died after being pushed to the ground by another person. Hospital sources say that the man was pronounced dead after being admitted to the hospital with critical injuries to his head.
Police also report a murder from the Rajagiriya area last night. A 71-year-old woman has been killed by an unidentified person who entered her house. Welikada Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident. (NewsWire)
