The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar today (August 03) compared to yesterday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 309.70 to Rs. 308.60, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 322.68 to Rs. 322.20.
The Rupee has also appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has significantly appreciated against several Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
