The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar today (Feb 16) compared to Thursday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 308.21 to Rs. 307.70, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 318.06 to Rs. 317.76.
The rupee has, however, depreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has largely appreciated against Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
