A 9-year-old child has died after being hit by a train near the Aluthgama Railway station, the police said.
The accident has occurred yesterday (18) morning when the child got hit by the train traveling from Galle to Mt. Lavinia. The Deceased child has been identified as a resident of Dharga Town.
The body of the victim has been kept at the mortuary of Nagoda hospital, Kalutara while the Aluthgama Police are conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
