Russia’s National Airline Aeroflot will operate two flights per week to Sri Lanka starting Sunday (9th October), Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando has said.
The Minister further said that permission has also been given to charter airline Azur Air to fly four charter flights per week, starting early November.
Via a tweet, Harin Fernando further said that this development would increase tourist inflow from Russia to Sri Lanka significantly and thanked the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Sri Lankan Embassy in Russia for their efforts. (NewsWire)
