Two suspects have been arrested in Mannar with 7,990 sticks of emulsion type explosives weighing nearly 1000 kgs, Police said.
“7,990 Water Gel sticks, weighing about 998.750 Kg illegally stored in the house seized” Police said.
The explosives were illegally brought down from India and were hidden in a house in Mannar.
