A Fundamental Rights petition filed challenging legality of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Chairman and its Secretary has been dismissed by Court.
Oshala Herath who is contesting in the upcoming General Election under the UNP ticket (Colombo District) had filed petition questioning the legality of Samagi Jana Balavegaya requesting the court to issue an order to the Election Commission to dismiss the Samagi Jana Balawegaya nomination papers, on 22nd May.
“Supreme court today dismissed the petition” SJB national list candidate Harin Fernando told NewsWire from the court premises.
