The Police Traffic Sergeant and a Constable who were interdicted for enforcing the law arbitrarily and punishing a group that travelled by violating curfew, reinstated, DIG Ajith Rohana said.
“Investigations revealed that they had done this without an intention do any harm” he said.

Sri Lanka Police has taken Disciplinary action against 2 traffic police officers over degrading treatment of curfew violators at Maradana yesterday (April 12).
Police Media unit confirmed to NewsWire that a Colombo City Traffic Sergeant and PC interdicted over the incident.
