The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar today in comparison to yesterday (31).
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the USD buying rate is the lowest to be reported since April 2022.
The buying rate of the US Dollar today dropped from Rs. 287.87 to Rs. 283.87, while the selling rate also reduced from Rs. 300.92 to Rs. 297.23.
The Rupee has also significantly appreciated against several other foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
