Cabinet approval has been granted to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) registration threshold.
Accordingly, the VAT registration threshold will be reduced from Rs. 80 million per annum to Rs.60 million per annum.
The government stated that the amended VAT registration threshold will come into effect from January 1, 2024. (NewsWire)
