2 Navy Personnel who were engaged in training for War Heroes Commemoration have been identified as Covid19 positive patients yesterday.
Health DG Dr. Anil Jasinghe confirmed this in an interview with TV Derana.
Sri Lanka has detected a total of 992 positive cases of COVID-19 so far and out of this total 550 were found from Sri Lanka Navy.
414 active cases are currently under medical care at selected hospitals across the country.
Sri Lanka’s coronavirus recoveries tally has now reached 569.
