State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara who was the first Parliamentarian to be infected with COVID-19, left the treatment centre yesterday after complete recovery.
Speaking during a virtual interview after being discharged, the MP made a special request from authorities with regard to the quarantine process of Covid infected persons in Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lanka Freedom Party MP requested for asymptomatic Covid patients to be quarantined at their residence instead of being transferred to treatment center.
He further said that he has been advised by doctors to remain in isolation at home for another one week. (NewsWire)
