SJB MP Harin Fernando yesterday made two shocking new revelations regarding the Easter Sunday attacks which took place in 2019.
Speaking in Parliament, MP Fernando challenged the Government to respond to his claims, which he said are from the details revealed in the Presidential Commission appointed to investigate the attacks.
Following are the two new revelations made by MP Harin Fernando.
- The wife of the Easter attacks ring leader Zaharan Hashim had testified that Intelligence Officers had met with Zaharan at his residence.
- Two lorries were seized at the Gelanigama entrance on 4th of April 2019, which were released on the orders of a Senior Police officer.
MP Manusha Nanayakkara speaking in Parliament added that the lorries mentioned by MP Fernando earlier, contained weapons and explosives, and a Police Officer took a bribe to release the two lorries. (NewsWire)
