Social media and violence expert Sanjana Hattotuwa has condemned the extremist attack carried out by a Sri Lankan in Auckland, New Zealand today.
Hattotuwa who lives in Dunedin, New Zealand spoke to Radio New Zealand a short while ago.
Six people were injured after the man carried out a knife attack in a supermarket in Auckland. However, he was shot dead by Police 60 seconds after commencing his attack.
The Sri Lankan extremist is said to have been under surveillance by New Zealand authorities for a long period of time.
