Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has commented on the long queues of people reportedly waiting to acquire their passports to leave Sri Lanka.
Addressing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) party’s 5th-anniversary convention, the Prime Minister said it is the responsibility of the party to create a society that will stop talented young people from leaving the country.
The Prime Minister made these references while speaking about the youth who created the wall art trend that sparked across Sri Lanka in 2019 December, after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was elected to power. (NewsWire)
