Parliamentarian Rishard Bathiudeen today called on the Government to present him in court over the allegations raised against him linked to the 2019 Easter attacks.
Addressing Parliament today, he said if he is found guilty, then the court should sentence him to death.
He further requested Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to inform President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and take necessary measures to produce him in court.
MP Bathiudeen is currently in the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department under a detention order obtained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) over the Easter attacks. (NewsWire)
