WATCH : Rishad says his party yet to decide on 20th amendment


All Ceylon Makkal Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rishad Bathiudeen was present at the inauguration of the new auditorium of the Vavuniya District Secretariat earlier today.

Minister of Home Affairs, Disaster Management and state Minister of Defense Chamal Rajapaksa graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and many guests including the parliament member Selvam Adiakkalanaathan,Kader Masthan,Thileephan and the provincial governors Mrs.Charles, Mahipala Herath, Anuradha Yagambath and the Defense Secretary Major General (Retd) G.D.H. Kamal Gunaratne were present at the occasion.

After the event, former minister Rishad Bathiudeen was questioned by journalists about his stance on the 20th amendment to the constitution. He said his party has not yet taken a decision on whether to support the 20th amendment or not.

He replied “No Comments” when he was asked whether he has an opportunity to work together with the Government.
